Cocoa Butter Body CremeMade with fair-trade cocoa butter and tamanu oil, this emollient cream has a wonderful mocha scent and provides a soft and silky afterfeel. This is the same formula that was previously available in a lotion container. But the thick, richness of the formula was better suited to a jar.Cocoa Butter contains natural antioxidants and is rich in Vitamin E as well as a number of other vitamins and minerals. Vitamin E helps to soothe, hydrate, and balance the skin and also provides the skin collagen which assists with wrinkles and other signs of ageing. For centuries pregnant women have used Cocoa Butter formulations to prevent and treat stretch marks, but this pleasant-smelling substance is added to countless other topical preparations. Lotions containing Cocoa Butter are often used in aromatherapy massage to promote relaxation and a feeling of well-being. Tamanu oil is a remarkable topical healing agent with skin healing, antineuralgic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antibiotic and antioxidant properties. Research has been done on the ability of Tamanu oil to fade stretch marks and scars with incredible results.
